Well there you have it. Just a little sketch on a 5 by 7 piece of normal drawing paper. Part of my getting back into my art work and sitting down to do a little bit each night. Done in the last two evenings and totals about two in a half hours of work.

Picture of one of my friends horses, Bell. She’s a beautiful Paint Belgian cross and I’ve been in love with her markings from the day they brought her home.

despite her being part draft, she's actually not all that tall or stocky. Her father was only about 13 or 14 hands and her mother wasn't the biggest draft horse in the herd. Her body is more like a Paint's body but her legs and feet below her knees are pritty drafty. lol The people who bought her, bought her as a wheenling and basically addopted her by giving the person running the barn a description of what they wanted in a baby horse. They wanted a mare who would have a lot of color.

very nice, i'm in love with the markings. not too sure about the mane, but maybe it's because of the devART watermark.

i think you just inspired me to go draw something.
